Elephant in the Nursery

Hi everyone-  I’m Mike Macken, the Growth Pastor here at Eagle Brook.   I wanted to give you a sneak peak at Bob’s message as we finish up our Elephant in the Room series.  This weekend Bob will be tackling the elephant in the nursery.  Bob’s passion for parenting is sure to come out as he speaks about how the first two years of a child’s life has a lasting effect.

A baby’s brain triples in size during its first year.  As parents, what are we filling those learning machines with?   What can we do to set them up for success?   What suggestions does the Bible have?   Bob’s message promises to have helpful hints and great insight into how God wants us to parent. Don’t miss the Elephant in the Nursery.

Until that time, I would like to throw out two questions.  What are some of the biggest struggles parents of one and two year olds have?  Is it becoming easier or more difficult to be a parent in today’s society?

  1. WOW! Another message hit out of the park! My husband and I are the parents of a 1 year old, who in my opinion is already starting to exert his self-will. My husband and I are like sponges trying to soak up every bit of parenting and discipline we can and this message was awesome! Thanks for practical biblically based teaching. Keep up the great work, pastors!
